GrowthCode Addressability Management Platform Setup Guide
GrowthCode is an Addressability Management Platform that captures, organizes, and activates first-party signals to improve programmatic monetization. The platform builds and maintains a first-party identity graph, enriches bid requests, creates audience segments, and supports activation across SSPs, DSPs, and curation platforms.
GrowthCode operates as an independent and neutral infrastructure layer. You retain ownership of your data. GrowthCode provides the technology, identity resolution, and connectivity required to activate that data across approved partners while supporting transparent measurement and performance analysis.
The GrowthCode Identity Graph provides
The GrowthCode Identity Graph provides:
A single cookieless identifier per user
Audience segmentation using IAB and custom taxonomies
A match table across major universal IDs, including Fabrick, Panorama, ID5, UID2, and others
Integration with SSPs, DSPs, and DMPs
Reporting on identity coverage, resolution rates, and overall graph health
Trust, Transparency, and Neutrality
GrowthCode does not sell media and does not own publisher data. GrowthCode functions as a neutral execution and infrastructure layer that supports interoperability across the programmatic ecosystem.
This neutrality enables:
Broad integration across approved SSPs and DSPs
Transparent performance measurement
Clean attribution of identity-driven uplift
Prebid Universal ID Module (UIM) Operation
Prebid maintains a registry of User ID providers and their corresponding sub-modules
Publishers determine which ID solutions are enabled within Prebid
GrowthCode manages the installation and configuration of its Universal ID Module
On page load, the UIM executes and stores data according to publisher-defined settings
Applicable consent and privacy signals are passed through Prebid to all sub-modules
Exclusive ID Module Requirement and Testing Controls
To support accurate measurement and clean uplift analysis during deployment:
During the initial deployment and testing period, no other Universal ID modules may run in parallel with the GrowthCode Universal ID Module
This includes standalone ID scripts, proprietary ID wrappers, or third-party identity solutions not explicitly approved by GrowthCode
If additional ID modules must remain active due to contractual or operational requirements:
All active identity modules must be disclosed before deployment
GrowthCode must approve the configuration
A mutually agreed testing plan must be established to isolate GrowthCode-driven uplift
Running undisclosed or unapproved ID modules may invalidate test results and delay optimization or commercial rollout.
Requirements (Minimum Configuration)
Prebid installed, Most recent version of 9 or 10 and greater
A unique visitor identifier
Most publishers use the SharedID User Module
If unavailable, GrowthCode will generate a unique identifier
A valid GrowthCode Partner ID
Generated by GrowthCode
Provided during setup
GrowthCode Sync Code installed on all pages, including:
Editorial pages
Registration flows
Newsletter signup pages
Publisher ID passed in configuration
Consent and privacy signals passed as applicable, including:
TCF EU v2 for EEA and UK traffic
TCF CA v1 for Canadian traffic
GPP (Global Privacy Platform) string for US state privacy frameworks, including California (CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and Utah (UCPA)
US Privacy String where required for legacy partner support
GDPR applicability flags (gdpr, gdpr_consent) where required
COPPA flag for child-directed content, if applicable
GPC (Global Privacy Control) signal when present
Script deployment via Google Tag Manager or native script placement on all pages
Bid Enrichment
GrowthCode enriches bid requests by adding Universal IDs required by SSPs and DSPs.
Universal IDs are added dynamically based on partner-specific requirements
Enrichment is delivered through the pubProvidedId and RTD modules
IDs are continuously evaluated for performance
Low-value or unused IDs are suppressed over time
This process improves bid density and CPM without disrupting existing demand paths or bidder logic.
First-Party Syncing and Tokenization
Some SSPs and DSPs support first-party data syncing, typically using Hashed Email (HEM). This allows partners to resolve users into proprietary identity graphs and bid more aggressively.
Supported integrations may require:
Amazon Publisher Services (APS) ID, if applicable
Epsilon Publisher ID, if applicable
Criteo Publisher ID, if applicable
If you are not currently integrated, GrowthCode can help with introductions. If you are already integrated, provide the Publisher ID issued by the SSP.
Summary
During deployment and testing, GrowthCode operates as the single identity execution layer. This preserves signal integrity, enables clean uplift measurement, and supports reliable optimization decisions. Any exceptions must be disclosed in advance and explicitly approved.
